You are a multiple 5 or 6 figure business owner and LAUNCH FEAR has paralyzed you. And it’s time to own it.
You’ve watched your besties or complete strangers launch, stress out, fail, back out AND succeed. And in all honesty, you’d rather NOT go through that roller-coaster yourself.
So you simply don’t launch.
You keep slaying your 1:1 game and you’ve built up 1, maybe even 2 multi-5 or 6-figure businesses.
BUT YOU KEEP TRADING TIME FOR HOURS.
And that’s exactly what you tell your clients NOT to do.
PLUS you a have a bigger impact to make - not only online, but offline too!
You can’t stand the way things look in the world right now.
It pains you to the core of your soul and you know that your business gives you the power to DO something about it. To change lives, empower families, transform whole generations.
So you KNOW you CANNOT afford to stay trading your time for money.
But the question is how to do you move forward? How do you get over it? Can you do it yourself? Do you hire someone?
Truthfully, I’m not here to answer those questions for you. You’re a successful business owner - you know how to determine what you need.
But you’ve forgotten what it means to walk out taking a risk that is worthy of being taken.
No judgement - I’m only just learning to be comfortable with risk myself. It’s an icky word sometimes, and it’s CHOCK-FULL of ‘What if’s.
But that’s exactly what your launch will look like - full of those 'what if's - which is one of the main reasons you’re backing away from it in the first place.
Now take moment.
Literally take a couple deep breaths.
Put your hand on your heart.
And close your eyes - notice what the heck is happening in your body.
Let me ask you:
What is the worst thing that could happen if you launch?
What is the BEST thing that could happen if you launch?
Is the risk of the worst thing worth NOT risking the best thing?
I use a simple Risk Calculator to help myself decide on when it’s good or not good for me to move forward with a risk.
Allow me to share it with you?
See, here’s the truth: When it comes to launching...
There is a risk to saying yes. There is a reward to saying yes.
There is a risk to saying no. There is no reward for saying no.
To simplify, there are economic risks and rewards, and there are emotional risks and rewards.
You can make your yes or no choice to launch based on your intuition, prayer and internal guidance.
OR for those of us who are more logically inclined, you can try this simple test:
Here's how it works:
- Rate the the Economic Risk on a scale of -10 to 0 (-10 being how much you’d lose in the worst case scenario and 0 being how much you’d lose in the best case scenario)
- Rate the Emotional Risk in the same way: on a scale of -10 to 0 (-10 being how you’d feel the worst case scenario and 0 being how you’d feel in the best case scenario)
- Rate the Economic Reward on a scale of 0 to 10 (10 being how much you’d GAIN in the BEST case scenario and 0 being how much you’d gain in the worst case scenario)
- Rate the Emotional Reward on a scale of 0 to 10 (10 being how awesome you’d feel in the BEST case scenario and 0 being how meh/ indifferent you’d feel in the worst case scenario
At the end of these calculations you have 2 things to consider
- Are the totals positive or negative?
- Do the Economics outweigh the Emotional? Or vice versa?
If your TOTALS are both positive - you have grounds for giving a resounding yes to launch.
If your TOTALS are both negative - you probably shouldn’t launch right now.
If your TOTALS are a mix of both positive and negative numbers, add them together.
THEN If your result is positive, I hope you say yes and launch what you’ve been holding back on.
If your result is negative, now’s probably not the right time.
The truth is though, that whatever the case may be - you have a decision to make.
And there’s more on the line here than your business and your self-fulfillment.
That’s why I’m sharing this with you now: because although launching is one heck of a roller-coaster ride, I don’t think it’s the lack of confidence in your launch result that’s holding you back.
